Review: Nude Skincare Cleansing Facial Oil

I used to think facial cleansers were one of two products: either a bar soap of a liquid/gel that formed a nice lather. Then I heard about an unusual alternative: cleansing oils. While I've had normal to oily skin most of my life, I was curious to see how a cleansing oil such as Nude Skincare's Cleansing Facial Oil compared to traditional cleansers.

Pros:
  • Effective cleanser
  • Easy to use
  • Left skin soft and not dry
  • Lovely packaging
  • Few ingredients
  • A little goes a long way
Cons:
  • Consistency is a little thin
Summary:
Nude Skincare's Cleansing Facial Oil isn't your typical cleanser. It comes out of the pump as an oil, which you then massage onto your dry face. Then you add warm water and it forms a light milky cleanser that can be easily rinsed off. I found this product was very effective for a cleanser, but it is more moisturizing than other cleansers. For this reason, I would recommend it for normal to dry skin. The $36 price may be out of some budgets, but one 100ml container will last a while.

While the ingredients are fairly simple, this product rates a 4 on the EWG skin deep database. If ingredients such as the fragrance and benzyl benzoate were removed, I believe this product would be even safer.
