Review: Eco Lips Eco Tints

One of my biggest problems with lip color is that I don't always want to wear the same color, but buying multiple colors gets expensive quickly. Lip products in particular should be replaced every 6-12 months, depending on the formula. Wouldn't it be nice if there was an organic, affordable option for lip color? There is, and it's called Eco Tints.

Pros:
  • Soft, creamy texture
  • Mostly organic
  • Adds a nice sheen
  • Very affordable
  • Available in six colors
Cons:
  • May need to order online
Summary:
The Eco Tints line has a nice selection of moisture-rich shades that feel as luxurious as a quality lipstick. I love how affordable they are; you can stock up with several for less than the price of one department-store lipstick. This may not be the line to come to for your true reds, but they do have a decent range of subtle to deep shades. The colors are highly pigmented and go on just a little more sheer than lipsticks. These mostly organic tints are gentle, each rating a low 1 on the EWG Skin Deep database. Although you might not be able to find the shade you're eyeing locally, shipping fees from Eco Lips are very reasonable, as are the prices of the tints themselves (less than $5 each). My only suggestion for improvement would be to make the line vegan-friendly in the future. If you're looking for affordable organic lip color, check out Eco Tints.
