Review: Peter Lamas Ultra Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner

I've had long hair since I was a child, so I have some not-so-pleasant memories of my poor mother attempting to work the snarls out of my freshly-washed hair. When I was old enough to pick out my own hair products, I sought out the best detangling conditioners. I was loyal to a particular drugstore conditioner until I discovered that it was made by a company that tests on animals. I then committed to finding the closest natural alternative. After years of seraching, I believe I have finally found a shampoo and conditioner that smooth and detangle better than even conventional salon-quality products.

Pros:
  • Luxurious fragrance blends
  • Leaves hair feeling silky and very smooth
  • Excellent detangler
  • Makes hair more manageable
  • Contains several organic ingredients
  • Products have a nice consistency
Cons:
  • Full retail price is a little high for everyday use
Summary:
Peter Lamas Avocado and Olive Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner are by far some of the best detangling hair products I've tried. From the moment I rinse the products out, my hair feels very smooth and becomes much easier to comb. The scents are luxurious and I feel pampered when using these products. I highly recommend these products to those looking for a great detangling set of hair products or for anyone looking to transition to a natural product who wants the same performance as conventional salon products.

My only suggestions for improvement would be to offer a different travel-sized bottle for the conditioner, as it was hard to squeeze out.  Also, it would be great to see a gluten-free conditioner as well.

Also available on Amazon.com: Shampoo and Conditioner.
