Review: Zosimos Botanicals Eyeliner Pencil

Eyeliner pencils are easy to find, but most natural versions contain beeswax. When looking for a vegan eyeliner, I tend to be quite picky. I like a pencil that comes in a range of colors, is not too hard and not too soft, and will last at least eight hours. Zosimos Botanicals makes a great eyeliner pencil that has earned my seal of approval.


Pros:

• Stays on through a workday (about 8-10 hours)
• Simple and safe ingredients
• No beeswax
• Great consistency
• Won't break when sharpening
• Pencil will last through many uses (I sharpened it once a week)
• Comes in a range of colors

Cons:

• Hard to find in stores

Summary:
Zosimos Botanicals eyeliner pencils are a great natural alternative to many long-lasting pencils. It's great to see a pencil that not only performs well, but also comes in a great range of dark, natural colors. The pencils are also durable and come in minimal packaging. I would love to see this handcrafted cosmetic line expand their reach into more retail locations.
