Review: MyChelle Clear Skin Spot Treatment

Note: Packaging has changed.
When I was a teenager, one of the first spot treatments I used was a conventional lotion. Applied dutifully throughout the day, it was effective, but I wish I had known about natural alternatives. Tea tree oil sometimes stings, so MyChelle has another, gentler option: the Clear Skin Spot Treatment.

Pros:
  • Effectively reduces blemishes if applied at least twice a day
  • Vegan and gluten-free
  • A little goes a long way
  • Suitable for those with sensitive skin
  • Mild formula
Cons:
  • Moderately priced ($16 for 0.5 oz)
Summary:
This spot treatment is a relatively gentle formula. A little goes a long way, so a bottle will last awhile. I recommend using it in conjunction with a regular skin care routine for best results. This treatment rates a low to moderate 3 on the EWG Skin Deep database; most ingredients are quite gentle. If you're looking for a natural acne treatment and prefer not to use tea tree oil, this is a great option.
