Review: 100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Lip Gloss

When a friend first told me about 100% Pure, I immediately dreamed of trying many of their beautifully-packaged vegan cosmetics.  The company boasts some of the most natural ingredients I've ever seen, with many options for those who practice vegan or gluten-free lifestyles.  I was fortunate to get the opportunity to test a few items, including their Fruit Pigmented Lip Gloss.  I tested Shimmery White Peach.

Pros:
  • Amazingly pure ingredient list
  • Beautiful packaging and website
  • Lovely fruity smell
  • Nice shimmery colors
  • Gloss gently wore off without getting sticky
Cons:
  • Brush applicator is a bit difficult for makeup artists to use
Summary:
100% Pure makes a nice gloss that costs a moderate $13 and offers a decent range of pinks.  Those looking for deep or brown-toned glosses may also want to consider the non-vegan glosses (wand applicator) or the vegan lip glazes.  While the consistency of the gloss is great, I do have two suggestions for improvement: (1) package all colors either with a wand or the squeeze tube (the latter are preferred by makeup artists) and (2) make it taste as good as it smells.
