Review: Smart Girls Who Surf SPF 30+ Mineral Sunscreen

Natural sunscreens are abundant, but it's harder to find products that are suited for athletic activities such as water sports. Fortunately, there are a few sunscreens on the market designed specifically for athletes. One such product is Smart Girls Who Surf SPF 30+ Mineral Sunscreen.

Pros:
  • Light, fruity scent
  • No "sunscreen smell"
  • Non-greasy
  • Easy to apply
  • Nice lotion texture
  • Water and sweat resistant
Cons:
  • Will need to reapply every 80 minutes
Summary:
If you're looking for a natural sunscreen that can withstand the elements, this mineral sunscreen is a great choice. It won't make you smell like sunscreen and is reef safe. I especially love how the texture is very similar to conventional products. While I appreciate how the ingredients listing is detailed, I would love to see a vegan version made without beeswax. I'm also curious as to whether or not this is gluten-free, as the tocopheryl acetate source is not specified. Overall, I enjoyed this product and I recommend it for those looking for a gentle sunscreen for water sports.
