Review: Pristine Beauty Take a Whiff!

It's hard not to love everything by Pristine Beauty. The entire line is vegan and cruelty-free and was created by a lovely young cancer survivor. Pristine products are extremely gentle and all of them smell like vanilla and tangerine, or "creamsicle." Not to mention the awesome vintage packaging and theme. It's no surprise that I fell in love with Pristine Beauty's deodorant, Take a Whiff.

Pros:
  • Yummy "creamsicle" scent
  • Can be relatively strong with a dusting of baking soda
  • Cute packaging
  • Nice waxy texture
  • Will last a long time
Cons:
  • May need a little extra protection on scorching hot days
Summary:
I absolutely love the scent of Take a Whiff! deodorant. As expected, I didn't have any odor issues after a day in 80-degree weather. However, in the blazing hot Texas summers where temperatures reach over 100 degrees, this might not be enough on its own. It certainly won't stop you from sweating, but it can be strengthened with a light dusting of baking soda. At $22, this is not a "budget" deodorant, but it is certainly one of the safest on the market. I highly recommend it for those looking for a great vegan deodorant for day-to-day use that provides moderate odor protection.
