Review: Clif Kit's Organic Bars

Last summer, I posted a review for Clif Kit's Organic Peanut Butter bars. I was delighted when the company contacted me, asking for my opinion on the additional flavors in the line. Find out why I love the bars below, and see the summary for specifics on each flavor.

Pros:
  • Chewy texture
  • Great taste
  • Four simple, organic ingredients
  • Available in retail stores
  • Four flavor options
Cons:
  • More expensive than traditional trail mix bars
Summary:
I have now sampled all four Kit's Organic flavors and I enjoyed each one. The cashew and peanut flavors and simple, with small chunks or each nut and a good texture. The berry almond flavor is a nice variation that includes fun, unusual berries (barberries/bilberries) that taste similar to blueberries. It also has small pieces of almonds that are chopped up nicely. The chocolate almond coconut flavor includes pieces of chocolate and coconut and felt indulgent enough to count as dessert. These bars might not be as cheap as some of the competition, but they are vegan, gluten-free, and organic. It doesn't get much better than that.
