Review: 100% Pure Cocoa Pigmented Bronzer

Before I became a makeup artist, I didn't understand the benefits of bronzer. Bronzer is a fantastic tool for adding shadows, which makes your cheekbones appear higher, nose narrower, jawline higher, and more. It can also give a "sun-kissed" look, which fair people like myself especially need in dark winter months. 100% Pure offers a Cocoa Pigmented Bronzer in a lovely purple tin pretty enough for a gift in itself.

Pros:
  • Pressed formulation
  • Beautiful engraved metal case
  • Creates a soft shading effect on light skin
  • Adds a subtle shimmer
  • Vegan and gluten-free
  • Gentle ingredients
Cons:
  • May be hard to find in stores
Summary:
While this bronzer is priced higher than products you'd find in a drugstore, the quality and packaging is on part with department store lines. It is very well presented, which makes this line ideal for gifts. This bronzer is an especially versatile gift, as if works on a variety of light skin tones. I was glad to see that this product is not only gluten-free and vegan, but it also comes in at a very low 1 on the EWG Skin Deep database. If you're looking for an all-purpose bronzer that is pretty enough to give as a gift, this Cocoa Pigmented Bronzer is a nice option.
