Review: EO Hand Sanitizer Spray, Gel, and Cleansing Wipes

Last year, I straightened my teeth using the Invisalign system. While I appreciated the aesthetic bonus and the lack of wires, I had to remove and replace the clear retainer-like trays before and after every meal. This becomes a bit of a chore when eating out, and especially when traveling. At first, I would find a bathroom to clean my hands before removing the trays, but I quickly switched to using simple hand sanitizer instead. Naturally, I searched for a good sanitizer that not only traveled well, but also was easy to use. One of my top picks is EO Hand Sanitizer Spray, which comes in fun flavors such as peppermint and lavender.

Pros:
  • Available in a convenient travel size
  • Great natural fragrances
  • Certified organic
  • Effective sanitizer
  • Easy to apply
  • Available in many retail stores

Review: EO Tame Curl Control Gel for Curly and Wavy Hair

UPDATE: Representatives from this company have confirmed that this product has been discontinued. If you enjoy it, please write to the company to request a reissue.

I have long been in denial about my hair type.  With very long, very thick hair, it is easy to just give up and accept that my hair would never look good wavy.  The top never held a curl and the bottom never quite went straight.  However, one product recently changed the way I thought about my hair: EO Tame Curl Control Gel.

Pros:
  • Wonderful smell (vanilla/citrus)
  • Great gel consistency
  • Leaves hair manageable
  • Keeps curls and waves in place
  • Nice gel for air-drying
  • Reduces frizz
  • Affordable ($9)

Review: EO Shower Gel

I've been testing quite a few shower gels lately, and I find I'm getting particular about what I like.  A product must smell great and create a nice foam on a loofah with a small amount of product.  Fortunately, EO's shower gel meets my requirements.  I tested the grapefruit and mint scent.

Pros:
  • Wonderful fragrances from essential oils
  • Comes in large bottles that will last a long time
  • Forms a nice lather, especially when used on a loofah
  • Comes in a range of scents
  • Offer bulk and travel sizes for select scents
  • Bottle is 100% recycled and recyclable

Review: EO Amma's Rose Perfume

I've always loved the idea of having a signature scent.  About five years ago, I settled on a department store fragrance (Allure by Chanel).  Recently, my search began anew as I decided to look for a more natural perfume.

EO, who is best known for their delightfully fragrant personal care products, offers a fragrance called Amma's Rose.  It is inspired and worn by the humanitarian Amma, who is from India.  It is based on rose and sandalwood essential oils.  Read below for my review.
