Review: Nature's Gate Facial Block SPF 25

Putting the sunscreen to the test.
Summer is here and so is the sun.  On a recent trip to an outdoor zoo/animal sanctuary, I put Nature's Gate Face Block, SPF 25 to the test.  It is cruelty-free and vegan, and provides broad spectrum protection.

Pros:
  • Effective, broad-spectrum sunscreen
  • Suitable for normal to dry skin types
  • No added fragrances
  • "Suncreen smell" was faint
  • Affordable ($10)
Cons:
  • Would need stronger SPF for extended outings
Summary:
This seems like a good all-purpose sunscreen, but I think I prefer using one product that serves as a foundation and a sunscreen on my face.  However, I would consider it for daily use on my body due to its light smell and pleasant moisturizing properties.  It is also priced well for everyday use.

Also available on Amazon.com.  For more information about natural/vegan sunscreens, see my guest post on Vegan Beauty Review.
