Review: Seaweed Bath Co. Wildly Natural Seaweed Body Wash

Seaweed wraps and sushi may be popular, but seaweed is also showing up in another unexpected place: bath products.  Seaweed Bath Co. developed a line of bath and body products centered around seaweed, designed to aid in the natural treatment of psoriasis and eczema.  This gentle line is also great for those with sensitive skin or who may want pure and simple bath products.  I tried out the Wildly Natural Seaweed Body Wash in Unscented.

Pros:
  • Lathers up well on a loofah
  • Very light fragrance that does not linger or smell of seaweed
  • Non-drying and gentle
  • Incredibly pure ingredients
  • Offered in trial sizes
  • Available in three fragrances in addition to unscented
    Cons:
    • Takes a little practice to get used to dispensing the proper amount, due to liquid formulation
    Summary:
The Wildly Natural Seaweed Body Wash is a great cleanser for those with sensitive skin.  It uses extremely pure ingredients, so the price tag is reasonable ($16.89 for 12 oz.).  In the future, I'd like to see a gel formulation, or perhaps a pump or foaming dispenser to help me use only what I need so I can savor it.  This is a unique product and definitely worth a try.
