Review: 100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Brightening Concealer with SPF 20

Vegan powder concealers are easy to find but liquid formulations tend to be more rare.  Many contain a plethora of other chemicals that are hardly natural.  Fortunately, 100% Pure makes a nice option that is natural: the Fruit Pigmented Brightening Concealer with SPF 20.

Pros:
  • Nice color range for lighter skin tones
  • Contains SPF
  • Good multi-purpose concealer
  • Thick enough to work as a foundation on commonly pigmented areas such as the nose
  • Very natural ingredients
Cons:
  • Wears off quickly without primer
Summary:
This Fruit Pigmented Concealer is a nice liquid concealer.  I enjoy using it on days when I'm not wearing foundation, spot-applying it on any blemishes or redness (such as my typically red nose).  When used with primer and set with powder, it can last most of the day.  However, it's not the best under-eye concealer, as it is not available in corrective colors such as peach.  I'd love to see an alternate concealer in a thicker, more waxy formulation that would help cover under-eye circles.  I'd also like to see a few more options for those with darker skin (and for makeup artists to use for mixing), and a beeswax-free formula for vegans.

  1. Agree. It goes on smoothly, moisturizing for those who have dry skin. But it doesn't last long on its own. Thanks for the review.
