Review: Every Man Jack Deodorant

My man had been using a conventional gel antiperspirant. I was hoping to find a safer alternative, so I reached out to companies such as Every Man Jack who make cruelty-free products for men. What I didn't expect was that this would lead me to my new favorite deodorant as well: Every Man Jack deodorant.

Pros:
  • Aluminum-free
  • Deodorant strong enough for a man
  • Comes in a four scents
  • Affordable
  • Retail availability
Cons:
  • Not strong enough for sport use if staying dry is a priority
Summary:
This is one of the best natural deodorants on the market, for men or women. It comes in three scents. The cedarwood scent is a bit manly (similar to Old Spice), but both the citrus and mint scents work for women as well. There is no aluminum, but there are a couple of drying agents, so I tended to stay more dry using this deodorant. My man also really liked it, and uses this product regularly.

It rates a 4 on EWG's Skin Deep database, though it seems weighed down by the use of fragrance. However, it is much safer than products with aluminum, so I use this on hot summer days and when I exercise. This is probably one of the strongest natural deodorants I've used, and I tend to sweat a lot so I really need it. I highly recommend these deodorants if you're looking for something strong enough for a man (or woman).
