Review: Lunaroma Body Butter

I've been using body lotions for many years, and most have a very similar texture. They usually have a consistency similar to yogurt and disappear on contact with skin. Only recently have body butters appeared on the market, and Lunaroma offers a line in a variety of indulgent scents.

Pros:
  • Light, whipped texture
  • Available in a variety of luscious scents
  • Simple ingredients
  • A little goes a long way
  • Uses organic shea butter and jojoba
Cons:
  • May melt during transport
Summary:
This body butter smells wonderful and contains just a few simple ingredients, including organic shea butter and organic jojoba. It is a vegan ingredient list and has a delightful whipped texture. When applied, it melts instantly and turns into a rich, scented oil. I would recommend applying this to hands, elbows, and knees before bed, as opposed to using it as a daytime moisturizer. Each butter contains gentle ingredients, rating about a 1 on EWG's Skin Deep scale. My favorite scent is the chocolate, which smells delicious. If you're looking for a unique gift or an indulgence for yourself, this is a fun way to moisturize.
