Review: Every Man Jack Body Bar

When you share a shower with a man, there is an interesting discussion of which products remain "yours" and which will be a compromise. Some couples choose to keep things simple and buy everything in neutral scents like mint. Others have "his" and "hers" for every product from shampoo to body wash. When it comes to bar soap, sometimes it's nice to have something a little more manly. Every Man Jack offers gentle products like bar soap in manly scents such as cedarwood.

Summary:
This soap has an interesting design; it looks like wood and has a grid-like design on the bottom. It lasted longer than bargain soaps, and cleansed effectively without over-drying. I have seen several Every Man Jack products in my local Target, but if you're looking for a specific scent or product, you may have to buy online. This soap rates a 3 on EWG's Skin Deep database, though it seems gentle except for the use of fragrance. If you want to treat your man to something a little special, this would make a fun and affordable gift or even an everyday soap.

UPDATE: According to EMJ, they have "discontinued that body bar and revamped into a new 7oz one." They claim it is an "even more natural formula and packaging is made with 100% recyclable material." Links have been updated to this newer version.
