Review: Gud Foaming Hand Wash
Category: $, Body Care, Burt's Bees, Gluten-Free, Gud, Hand Soap, Liquid Hand Soap, Reviews / 2/23/2013Foaming Hand Wash a try.
- Available in many retail stores
- Delightfully fruity orange scent
- Comes in a foaming pump bottle
- Contains a few organic ingredients
- May not be vegan (includes glycerin from an unspecified source)
This foaming hand wash is a liquid, similar to castile soap, that foams well when pumped out. It lathers up a bit, but not quite as much as gel soaps. However, I found it still cleaned well and the fun fragrance wasn't overpowering. This rates a 4 on EWG's Skin Deep scale, though this is largely due to the use of fragrance. When I emailed the company about this product, they said none of their products were certified vegan. I would love to see a vegan version in the future, because the affordable price and good performance make this an otherwise good natural find.
