Review: Eco Lips Bee Free Vegan Lip Balm

I have tried many Eco Lips products in the past, and I was delighted to see that they made an option for vegans. This balm, called the Bee Free Vegan Lip Balm, is like your old standby lip balm with one fun twist: a lemon-lime flavor.

Pros:
  • Fun lemon-lime scent
  • Soft, melty texture
  • Hydrating on dry lips
  • Affordable
  • Many organic ingredients
Cons:
  • May be hard to find in stores
Summary:
I thought Eco Lips did a remarkably good job adapting their formula for vegans. While the vegan balm only comes in one flavor at the moment, I would love to see the other Eco Lips balms veganized, offering the same fun flavors "bee free" instead. I was glad to see that this balm in particular is mostly organic and comes in at a low 1 on the EWG Skin Deep database. For only $3.50, this is a good buy, but you may need to order online; I haven't seen this specific balm locally in my area. If you'd like to switch up your regular lip balm for one that is vegan (and gluten-free), this is a fun citrus option.
