Review: Enfusia Moisturizing Body Lotion

Note: Packaging has been
updated since photo was taken.
There's a company in my current home state of Texas that offers an entirely vegan, gluten-free line of body products. It is called Enfusia, and they are located near Houston. I recently had the opportunity to test their Moisturizing Body Lotion.

Pros:
  • Available in several scents or fragrance-free version
  • Non-greasy
  • Absorbs quickly
  • Scented versions will retain their scent for few hours
  • Many organic ingredients
  • Vegan and gluten-free
Cons:
  • May be hard to find locally
Summary:
Coming in at just below $10 for 8.5 oz, this lotion is a reasonable value. It is a great all-purpose body lotion, and I love how it comes in both scented and unscented version. I ran the scented version through the EWG Skin Deep database, and it rates a moderate 6 due to fragrances and vitamin A. I believe this number is a little high, and should probably be lowered since the fragrance is of natural origin. However, it would be interesting to see if it still performed as well without the Vitamin A, which would bring the rating down. The Enfusia line is carried in some retail locations, but most are in Texas. I recommend ordering from the Enfusia website, as it is more practical for those out of state. If you're looking for a simple body lotion with natural ingredients, this is a nice option.
