Review: Every Man Jack Body Wash

When I asked my guy if he wanted to use body wash, his main concern was "not smelling like an orange smoothie." I understand his point, so I was glad to see that many lines are offering a more neutral, non-flowery and non-fruity scent: mint. Every Man Jack is one such line that offers a body wash/shower gel in this refreshing scent.

Pros:
  • Nice, thick texture
  • Lathers well
  • Pleasant minty scent
  • Cleans well
  • Affordable
  • Retail availability on some scents

Review: LUSH Dirty Springwash Shower Gel

My boyfriend is picky when it comes to soap and shower gel scents. "I don't like anything that smells like food," he says, "it's just weird." I think he's the weird one, as I love citrus, vanilla, and other scents. But maybe if I were a guy, I'd feel different.

I was excited to receive a sample of the minty/pine scented Dirty Springwash Shower Gel from LUSH. I tried it out myself, but soon surrendered my sample to my boyfriend. He loved the minty/pine scent and asked for more.

Pros:
  • Minty scent is suitable for men and women
  • Can also be used as a shampoo
  • A little goes a long way
  • Fragrance was a favorite of my man
  • Lathers well
