Review: Earth Science Purfection Hand Cream

My mother had always used hand lotion at night. I didn't understand why until I grew older, and found my hands getting dry as well. Whether it's from washing dishes, you job, or just the weather, a little extra moisture is often required on the hands. Fortunately, there are products like Earth Science's Purfection Hand Cream, an intensive vegan lotion.

Pros:
  • Light, pleasant fragrance
  • Great night hand cream due to intensive moisturizing
  • Kept hands hydrated for hours
  • Gentle ingredients
  • One bottle will last a long time

Review and Giveaway: Earth Science Active Age Defense i-Cream

I often get asked about undereye concealers, and what may be causing them to collect in certain places on the skin.  There are two primary reasons for this: (1) applying too much concealer in a place where your skin has natural folds and (2) wearing heavy eye creams under makeup.  Fortunately, there are eye creams that are light enough to wear under makeup, such as Earth Science Age Defense i-cream.

Pros:
  • Light moisturizing cream
  • Gentle firming effect overnight
  • Can be worn under makeup
  • Relatively inexpensive ($12.95)

Review: Earth Science Daily Sun Defense Lotion

When you come from a family with freckles, it's hard to ignore the effects of sun exposure on your skin.  I made the choice to wear daily sunscreen when I first moved to sunny Los Angeles but even those in rainy cities may want to consider making sunscreen part of their daily beauty routine.  I was in the habit of using a conventional light daily moisturizer with sunscreen and I've been searching for a natural alternative.  Fortunately, I had the opportunity to take Earth Science Daily Sun Defense Lotion for a test run.

Pros:
  • Lightweight and suitable for use on the face
  • Starts out with a nice fragrance but fades so it won't be noticed
  • "Sunscreen smell" is very faint throughout the day
  • Large size is great for those who use daily
  • Affordable ($16.50 for 11 oz.)
  • All-day moisturizer and sunscreen in one
