When people think of toners, they often think of witch hazel or alcohols. When you have mature skin, it's worth looking into toners that are made without alcohol. L'uvalla, for example, makes an organic orange toner that is designed specifically for age-defying benefits.

Pros:

  • Plastic piece on mouth to avoid big spills
  • Helps restore pH balance
  • No alcohol
  • Many organic ingredients

Review: Systeme 41 Rejuvenating Masque

I didn't know what to expect when I received a box of Systeme 41 products. For some reason, it reminded me of the Proactiv design and I wondered how it could be a "green" product. However, after further research, I found out that the idea behind this line is that it has mild ingredients and none of the harsh chemicals found in conventional products.  I tested out the Rejuventaing Masque to see how well it would perform.

Pros:
  • Multi-tasking product (exfoliator/masque)
  • Left skin soft
  • Gentle tightening effect when used as a masque
  • Works well as an exfoliator
  • Mild ingredients
